libcinnamon-desktop-dbg software package provides Cinnamon library for loading .desktop files - debug symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcinnamon-desktop-dbg
libcinnamon-desktop-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcinnamon-desktop-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcinnamon-desktop-dbg *
You will get with libcinnamon-desktop-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
